BLS Provider – Initial Course (Professional CPR)

The BLS Provider – Initial Course (professional CPR) in-person classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, administer CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course is intended for for those who have never taken an in-person BLS Provider Course, or for those providers whose certification has expired.

HeartCode BLS (Professional CPR) Online Course (Part 1)

This course is intended for students who are renewing their BLS Provider certification and have previously taken the BLS Provider Course. This AHA course is web-based and accessible 24 hours a day. This course provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. This course teaches the concept of both single-rescuer and team basic life support through case-based scenarios and interactive activities and videos.

Part 1 must be paired with hands-on skills practice and testing sessions (Parts 2 and 3) with an AHA BLS Instructor. Students who successfully complete Part 1 will receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills practice and testing session. That certificate MUST be provided to their instructor when the student arrives for their HeartCode BLS Part 2 Skills Lab. An AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of both parts of the HeartCode BLS Provider Course.

Heartsaver CPR AED

Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course will teach you skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe, provide feedback, and guide your learning of skills.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED

Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED is an OSHA-compliant classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that will teach you the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

You’ll learn the skills necessary to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR, and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
