We have transfer articulation agreements with many colleges and universities throughout the region and accept a generous number of transfer credits. Our experienced faculty, advisors, and admissions team make transferring to Mercy College easy and personal.
TRANSFER APPLICANTS
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Have you taken nine or more credits from a college or university following high school graduation? If so, you must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.25 on a 4.0 scale where the most recent nine or more credit hours were attempted to be admitted to Mercy College.
TRANSFER GUIDELINES
Mercy College accepts courses offered by accredited institutions of higher learning. Courses accepted as transfer credit must be of comparable content and length to Mercy College courses to be applied toward Core or degree requirements.
Common types of transfer credit include:
- Prior College Credit
- AP Credit
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
When applicable, transfer courses must meet the following guidelines for transfer:
- Minimum grade of C is required
- Transfer credit is limited to 90 semester hours
- Official transcripts from all institutions are required for an admission decision

PROGRAM ADMISSIONS
Once you are admitted to Mercy College of Health Sciences, some programs require additional consideration for admission to the professional program. Additional program standards and deadlines can be found on the academic program website.
Professional program admission is often limited and competitive. Selection for admission is based on the most qualified applicants. You may find it helpful to complete liberal arts and science courses at Mercy College prior to your program admission.
