Music to your ears, right? We know it strikes a chord — a good one because you’ve worked hard to get here — so we’re bringing the celebration and all that jazz to you. This isn’t the same old song and dance “you’ve been accepted” message. This is a Mercy College of Health Sciences “rock on, time to celebrate, let’s boogie, you’ve been accepted to Mercy College” message! Step One
Connect with Us
Now that you are admitted to Mercy College of Health Sciences, you should receive an official Mercy College admission letter in the mail containing a curriculum plan with additional information about your desired major. We encourage you to contact our admissions team at admissions@mchs.edu or (515) 635-1133 and set up an appointment with an admissions counselor to discuss the post-admission process.
STEP TWO
ORIENTATION SIGN-UP
New Student Orientation and Registration is crucial for new students. You’ll learn everything you need to know about Mercy College and work with an advisor to register for classes. Once the New Student Orientation dates are posted for your start term, you will be contacted by the Admissions Office via email to sign up for a session.
STEP THREE
FINANCE YOUR EDUCATION
To be considered for federal, state, and Mercy College financial aid, you need to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete the FAFSA online. To do this, first obtain your federal Personal Identification Number (PIN). Once you have received your federal PIN, you may submit the FAFSA. Our financial aid team will receive your FAFSA information electronically from the federal government. Just make sure to include Mercy College’s school code (006273) when completing your FAFSA!
