COVID-19 Response

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Response

Mercy College follows the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance for preventative steps to reduce exposure and spread of COVID-19. This includes following the CDC Community Levels for safety protocol and guidance for quarantine and isolation. Individuals with questions related to COVID-19 should refer to the most recent CDC COVID-19 guidance

COVID-19 Community Levels are a tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high, and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. Mercy College employees and students are required to take precautions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 based on the current COVID-19 Community Level.

Mercy College's mask requirement is subject to change pending changes in the CDC Community Levels.

Masks must be worn by all colleagues, regardless of vaccination status, in MercyOne settings where healthcare is provided
