(DES MOINES, IOWA) Mercy College of Health Sciences will be hosting an official college signing day event where they will celebrate students who have expressed the intent to pursue an education at Mercy College.
Mercy College Signing Day will kick off with a two hour campus visit which includes a walking tour of campus. Following the visit, participants are invited to stay for a Signing of Intent and light reception. Students who have expressed an interest—formally or informally—and plan to attend Mercy College will be seated at the official signing day table with their family, friends, and President of Mercy College. The event will provide photo opportunities for the students and their families.
Individuals who wish to participate in Mercy College Signing Day do not have to have applied or been accepted to the College in order to attend. If students have an intent to attend Mercy College and pursue a health sciences career, they are encouraged to participate in this exciting event.
All participants will also receive an official letter of intent certificate and a commemorative Mercy College Signing Day gift.
“College Signing Days aren’t just for athletes– we want to celebrate students’ hard work in the classroom,”
stated Andrew Gress, Director of Admissions at Mercy College.
“We encourage anyone who may have an inkling of interest in a health sciences career to come, learn about Mercy College, take the campus tour, and get a photo op. The event is going to be a lot of fun and we get to celebrate the work students do in the classroom which will be great,” stated Gress.
Mercy College signing day will be held on National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 5 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Mercy College of Health Sciences’ campus starting in Sullivan Center-102.
