Re: President Search Update
Finalist candidates, yet to be identified, will be invited to campus for visits that are planned to take place on March 23, 24, and 28. There will be opportunities on these days for college constituents to hear from the candidates, ask questions, and provide input.
The schedule of events for each visit day (March 23, 24, and 28) will include the following:
Student Open House Breakfast
Campus Tour with Staff Hallway Conversations (morning)
Lobby Meet and Greet (morning)
Meetings with cabinet, board chair and vice chair, and MercyOne representatives
Faculty Open Forum Q & A (afternoon)
Campus/Public Presentation with Q & A – Open to All (late afternoon)
Board of Directors Dinner
Please plan to attend events, and, importantly, to provide your input to the Board of Directors which is tasked with the selection of the next President. You are also encouraged to participate in the survey that will be sent out to campus for this purpose – this will be your opportunity to provide input on the specific finalist candidates. The survey will close at 5:00 p.m. on March 29.
As a reminder, input or comments may be provided by contacting Cheryl Hyatt by email chyatt@hyatt-fennell.com or phone at 724-242-0476, or through your campus representatives (Bud Marr, Lyneene Richardson, and Bo Bonner).
Thank you for your continued service to Mercy College of Health Sciences. We appreciate your prayers
and support as we continue this important process for the future of the College.
Blessing for a New Leader
Loving God,
in Your love for us You sent Your Son
to be our Shepherd and Leader,
our Brother and our Lord.
We ask you to continue showing Your love for us
by sending us a new President to care for Mercy College.
Bless them to take up the responsibility
of our mission.
Guide them in the work of our vision.
Fill them with kindness, reverence, integrity, compassion, and
excellence,
and give them a heart like Catherine McAuley’s.
We ask You, in your great Mercy, to hear this our prayer. Amen.
