• 12 pm: Campus Mass 

  • WHERE: Mercy College of Health Sciences - Brennan Hall Chapel (928 6th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: Join us for our weekly celebration of Mass as a campus community in the Brennan Hall Chapel 

• 12:30 pm: Prayer Walk

  • WHERE: Mercy College of Health Sciences - Sullivan Center Lobby (928 6th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: People of all faith backgrounds are invited to join us during our prayer walk around Mercy College's campus 

• 4 pm: Alumni Reception

  • WHERE: Mercy College of Health Sciences - Sullivan Center Lobby (928 6th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: Mercy College alumni are invited to return to campus for a light hors d'oeuvres reception in celebration of the new president's inauguration. Campus tours will also be available prior to the reception at 3 p.m., with remarks from the new president at 5 p.m.

• 9 am: Inauguration Mass

  • WHERE: St. Ambrose Cathedral (607 High Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: People of all faiths are invited to attend the celebration of holy Mass with special intentions for the new president

• 10 am: VIP Guest Reception* 

  • WHERE: The Catholic Pastoral Center (601 High Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • ​WHAT: Meet with Dr. Henry and other inauguration guests following the conclusion of Mass. 
    *By invitation only

• 11 am: VIP Guest Luncheon* 

  • WHERE: The Catholic Pastoral Center (601 High Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • ​WHAT: Join Dr. Henry for a private luncheon in celebration of his inauguration. 
    *By invitation only

• 2 pm: Installation Ceremony

  • WHERE: Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center - Ballroom A (833 5th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: Join us for the formal installment of Dr. Adreain Henry as the fourth president of Mercy College of Health Sciences

• 4 pm: Dessert Reception

  • WHERE: Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center - Foyer (833 5th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • WHAT: Following the ceremony, please join us in the Convention Center foyer for a dessert reception 

• 6:30 pm: Reception & Private Dinner*

  • WHERE: World Food Prize Hall of Laureates (100 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309)
  • ​WHAT: After the conclusion of the day's events, please join Dr. Henry for a final Inauguration Dinner featuring several guest speakers. This event is black tie optional. Valet parking will be available off of West Locust Street.
