Valley West Uniforms

Beginning August 11, 2011, Valley West Uniforms will provide Mercy College uniforms for all academic programs.  Specific uniform requirements for each academic program are shown below and can be confirmed with the respective Program Chair.  All uniform tops must have the Mercy College logo; however scrub bottoms and pants no longer need to have the logo.  Valley West Uniforms will be doing all embroidery work at its retail location in West Des Moines and its sales representatives are ready and able to assist with all your uniform needs.

Uniform Requirements

Programs with Dark Green Scrub Top and Khaki Scrub Bottom

• Clinical Laboratory Science
• Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Medical Assisting
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (also white, long sleeve lab coat with college logo)
• Associates in Nursing
• Polysomnographic Technology
• Radiologic Technology

Programs with Alternate Uniform Requirements

• Paramedic
  • Uniform Top:  Dark green polo shirt (embroidered logo)

  • Uniform Bottom: Black or Navy Blue EMT pant (no embroidery necessary)

• EMT-B
  
  • Uniform Top:  Burgundy polo shirt (embroidered logo)

  • Uniform Bottom: Black or Navy Blue EMT pant (no embroidery necessary)

• Physical Therapist Assistant
  
  • Uniform Top:  Polo shirt in one of 6 colors (embroidered logo)
    (Mediterranean blue, red, hunter green, black, Maui blue, mint green colors)

  • Uniform Bottom: None

• Surgical Technology
  
  • Uniform Top:  Polo shirt in one of 3 colors (embroidered logo)
    (Purple, white, stone colors)

  • Uniform Bottom: None

• Nursing Assistant
  
  • Please get specific direction from the professor or program chair.
