CPR and First Aid Courses
The American Heart Association's BLS courses reinforce healthcare professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, performing basic steps of CPR, relieving choking, using an AED, and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
The BLS for Healthcare Providers – classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several like-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1 Course This course is web-based and accessible 24 hours a day and provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concept of both single-rescuer and team basic life support.
Part 1 must be paired with a hands-on skills practice and testing sessions (Parts 2 and 3) with an AHA BLS Instructor. Students who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills practice and testing session. An AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of all three parts.

Heartsaver CPR AED
Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA's research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Community/Friends and Family CPR AED (non-certified)
Friends and Family CPR course teaches adult Hands-Only CPR, adult AED use, child CPR and AED use and infant CPR. It also teaches how to relieve choking in an adult, child or infant.
