AmeriCorps VISTA Opportunity
The AmeriCorps VISTA member will work in collaboration with the Mercy College Service Learning Advisory Committee and Student Affairs Office to help organize and oversee service learning initiatives and financial literacy efforts that address community-defined needs for underserved populations in the metro area. The VISTA will identify and foster community partnerships, track service learning experiences for students, utilize creativity in promoting activities and initiatives, maintain communications, and update and coordinate financial literacy programming focusing on the needs of college students. The VISTA will organize events and activities focused on educating the campus on service learning and financial literacy. In addition, the VISTA will help with the Iowa College AmeriCorps Program, including recruitment and training. Mercy College of Health Sciences is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Online Learning and Teaching Coordinator
We are seeking candidates to serve as support for end users for our learning management system: D2L. The position will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving issues, training and assist faculty with web-based, web-assisted and fully online courses. The position will serve as administrator for the system.
